Shoppingby zerocusaComment: I'd have preferred more of the tops of the towers and less of the dark water. Probably not possible to get all of it from this close without a tilt/shift. Good sharpness and WB. |

July 4th at the Crab Festivalby rmockmtComment: This really calls out for a wider angle lens. Frustrating, isn't it? If there was any room to back up, it would have been nice to see some ground in the foreground rather than having the people's torsos growing out of the bottom of the image. |

Giggby sjonniComment: Great concert shot. The flash is a little harsh - something to diffuse it would have improved the look - but that backlight is all rock n roll. |

C1 Eclipseby sunflowerComment: Nicely composed. Shame the plane wasn\'t cleaner.

\Well Erik as you know, the reality of the world is that there will always be
airplanes that need to be cleaned, electrical wires between transformers in our
landscapes, and other imperfections that crop up in our photographic
undertakings. The perfection of the world is that it is imperfect I guess. How\'s
that for a little zen?
Margo"
Ok then... it's perfect.

Electric Midnight Express by magnetic9999Comment: Excellent shot of the Metro! I wouldn't have thought to shoot the train on the opposite track to take advantage of those lights in the median. Tripod? Any trouble with transit cops? |

Cessna's Silverwingby LeahStephenComment: This looks like a great subject and location, but it's not working for me. I really miss seeing all of the tail, and the fantastic roof kind of swallows up the wings and wood bits of the plane. I don't know if there's anything you could do about the tail if there was something in the way there, but the right B/W conversion would make the plane stand out better. |
