Chess Movesby machworksComment: Some blowout on his hand and the pieces, but a great capture of the indecisive moment. |

Hat Trick by timj351Comment: Congratulations! Even more impressive now that I know you had to catch it yourself. One thing, though - I find that if I squint hard enough the entire image disappears. {g} |

Hat Trick by timj351Comment: Did you use some kind of flash trigger, or is your timing just amazing? Very impressive catch. Love the specular motion blur from the fletching on the moving dart. My only nits are the highlights on the two darts in the board and on the metal bits could use some smoothing out, and it looks like the focal point was just a bit forward of where it should be. The DOF trails off right behind the bullseye. I'm guessing the oversharp highlights are a result of trying to get sharpness out of a not-quite-in-focus foreground. Top ten. |

Cops and Robbers Anyone?by d95vetteComment: Well lit, and sexy. What more do I want? Well... it looks like privacy/anonymity issues with the model hurt the composition - much better to show us the rest of her face or, if that wasn't possible, to square crop in order to lose the empty blue space. Given her apparent reluctance and the site rules, though, all I can fault you with is chopping off the end of her shoe. Getting really picky, it would be nice if she were sitting up a little straighter, and this pose gives a less-than-wonderful calf droop on her near leg. I wanna play, anyway. |

The Pez Wars (now for PS2)by heartsdivideComment: The sidelighting isn't doing much for you here except throwing a shadow on Leia, and Darth's pretty much disappeared against the black bg. Shooting from above has emphasized the smallness of the pez dispensers. There are probably more dramatic, interesting ways to shoot this. |

Fill 'er Up-Side Down!by joebarComment: Hot glue gun and a water pistol? A very creative approach, whatever it was. Only nit is the focus seems to be slightly ahead of the glass (the front of the base looks sharp, as does the droplet at center L), and the reflections could have been tamed a little better. Well done. |

Roll Overby SonifoComment: Man... that's some tall grass. I sure hope no toy people were hurt. The car and streetlight in the bg work for {fake} perspective. Actually, without the grass and sharpening you might have had me going. Nicely done. |

Treed Frogby PauloComment: Great colors. Very well composed. Nicely sharp. Almost very well lit. So much promise, and then a rubber frog... |
