Double Troubleby manx_20Comment: The subjects are very good, and I know cats are HARD to catch still and cooperative, but the scratched wood and the objects in background are very distracting. Also, avoid onboard flash for anything more than fill if at all possible. Definitely meets challenge, tho'! Hope the tips help :) |

And you thought that was just a story...by PeterPicComment: Okay, I JUST figured this out, after ages of confusion. I think because it doesn't look like it's growing, it looks like you'd been pulling your hair out trying to come up with an idea? ;) What might have worked better would be some clear doublesided tape with short, furrier hair on it? (to look more like your leg, for example) |

It's bad luck to pick up a coin if it's tails side up.by ReveccaComment: Technically speaking it's a good picture, my one nitpick being the bit of leg (?) in the corner, and it does definitely fit the challenge but it's just very static and, if viewed beyond the narrow boundaries of a challenge, rather boring, IMO. Not putting it down, just giving one reason why it may not get a top score :) |

Date with the Vampireby isonajComment: Funky contacts? In my unexperienced opinion the creativity and photography are good, but it needs a little more post-processing to darken the little distractions in the background and bring the subject into sharper contrast, make him stand out terribly evilly :) |

In Search of the Loch Ness Monsterby RikkiComment: Looks like the search is over? :) This is one of my favourites. There are plenty of little details for my eye to enjoy (such as the textures created by the weeds and ripples) and the shadows balance it nicely, but even though my eye wanders it's always drawn back to the main subject, as it should be.
Good composition, meets challenge perfectly, etc. etc. :) |

church and stateby oldbimmercoupeComment: I'm sure that by now you've been given the link to the sizing tutorial :)
This appears to be a great shot, crisp and clear, and I love the perspective and composition. It's hard to give a better critique tho', without being able to see more detail, sowwy. |
