The expression on the face is very fitting for the title. Would probably look better with the focus more on the eyes instead of the nose.

The face is so round - adorable, but maybe not the best for a square crop? It just seems like the round isn't balanced inside the square. I'd be interested to see what a square crop that was much tighter - just under the lips and near the eye on the right - would look like. Although I have a feeling that would be a bit off as well.

A tighter crop would probably have made this more interesting. I like the background because the colors and "short lines" feeling matches the coloring of the cat, but as others have noted, the background is a bit overpowering.

I very much like this. Great focus, good use of color (or lack thereof) and attention to detail. I like the half face as that leaves more room for the background, bringing attention to the fact that the background and face are so alike.
