The lines are because the automatic exposure changed as you panned across. You must use manual exposure for shooting panoramas, and also manual focus if possible. Do a quick sweep across the scene to determine what exposure is the best, and use it for all the exposures.

Lychees are fruit, like apples and oranges. You eat, after you take the shell off of course... A hard pip is surrounded by the white jellylike flesh. Get them a lot here in South Africa.
