Oh no, Jon. Definitely not. I still find it an exquisite pleasure to be in the top 10 of any challenge, especially with all the talent to be found here. I'm a nervous wreck all week when I have a good score and press the update button a million times. Nothing's changed in that respect. I love this site and the people on it.

Enzo, I nearly entered a VERY similar image but I couldn't get it as "right" as I wanted to so I did the jam jar one instead. I love the way yours turned out. freakin_hilarious described it to a "T": Abstract yet recognizable.

Hey, I celebrate you Irene. You should do a book.

Two things:

1. You got a 1...who is the person that gave this a 1????
2. How come you use a humble D50 when you have a D2X? Just asking...

Your biggest fan,

Enzo

Hi Enzo, to answer your two questions:
1. Don't worry about the "1" giving person. I put a curse on him and he's now the frog sitting on Lydias LydiaToo light-bulb. He'll never bother us again ;-D
2. The D50 is my absolute favourite camera. It sounds daft, I know (and I love the D2X) but everytime I pick up a camera, it's nearly always the D50. I'm hoping I'll grow out of it ;-D

Oh, Wow! This is SO good. The colour of the flower balances the whole thing out beautifully. Great work, Ian and congrats on 4th place.
