Wise Old ...Apeby danielcheong1974Comment: Poor guy. Someone's been chewing on his ear. And he seems to have been painted blue. All of the blown out white turned grey looks kinda weird, too. It's a good capture, but I'm not too fond of the end result. |

Highly Dangerous entRyby heavyjComment: Holy tonemapping, Batman! I like the look, but I miss some sharpness. I can't really tell if the focus is off or if there's some motion blur or something, but it ain't quite right for me. Still, pretty cool looking. |

shoneby krnodilComment: Hmmm. I like it. When it first popped up I thought I saw a face in there, but I lost it almost immediately. This really just has a nice, soft, comfy feel to it. Except for the shallow DOF this feels like a pinhole shot. Wait a minute! Maybe it's a Lensbaby shot with the pinhole optic! Or maybe not. :) |

"You Didn't Hear It"by radarbratComment: I don't really know what the fuck is going on here, but I love it all the same. More to come...the baby's crying... |

Ocean's Roarby halopesComment: This is quite beautiful. Really the only issue I have is the noise. I like noise in general, and I think it could work with this image, but something about it just doesn't sit well with me. I'm sorry I can't pinpoint it better than that. Regardless, I like everything else about it and I think an 8 is appropriate. |

Desolate Soundby TannisComment: This doesn't relate to the challenge that well for me, but damn it's a fantastic shot. I just can't stop looking at it. I'll have to drop you a few points for the tenuous connection to the challenge as well as a bit of a composition issue (I would prefer the random crap at the top to be cropped off), but in the end I think an 8 will do. |

Curiosityby LoreneComment: Fantastic finish! You'll nudge up into the ribbons before too long. We might just have to get a big ol' print of this one. :-) |

Fancy Dancerby macrothingComment: There's some really bizarre processing going on here, which I like immensely. One of my top scores for sure. The composition isn't perfect for me (I like me some good negative space, so I would prefer that the tree hug the right edge), so I guess you get a 9 instead of a 10.
Well, now that I've voted the whole thing, this is my #1 choice, so you get a bonus point for that. 10 it is. |

Poodle Majestyby scarbrdComment: Now that is a poodle portrait if I ever saw one. Nice! The softness really works well. |

Quite . . . by soonComment: Quite Blue? Quite Tranquil? Quite Quiet? Your title as a fill in the blank, right? Sorry, enough foolishness. I really like the image. The subdued tones work really well for me. |
