My town's libraryby Bela45Comment: Hi Anabela,
Thanks for your comment! You're lucky to have such a beautiful library in your town. It must be fun to sit close to the windows and read a good book. I love blue glass. It's such a pity we couldn't use the perspective correction tool for the challenge, don't you think?
BTW, what made you think my picture to urban landscapes was mine? I didn't post it anywhere else (not this time :)
Take care,
Ursula |

Pandering to the Female Voteby GeneralEComment: I hadn't seen your answer until today. I've been to the San Francisco area only once (my uncle used to work for SLAC so I stayed with him for a week or so mainly to visit with my grandmother, who was staying at a retirement home in Palo Alto; she died shortly thereafter***), and I LOVED it! There are only a couple places in the States that I really liked and San Francisco is one of them (I also really like San Diego, Albuquerque, Moab, and anywhere in Wyoming).
Did I mention that I worked for the Jerry Brown campaign in 1992 right after becoming a US citizen? That's how I learned about the American political system :) Now in December I'm applying for Canadian citizenship.

You Are What You Eatby dsidwellComment: Hey, David, thanks for your comment on my dreams entry!!! This one (your picture) had me all freaked out during voting, I was hoping whoever entered it didn't have to eat plaster all the time :)) And so formal. Cool idea, I liked it.

Jasperby timmiComment: You know, I think you and I have the same fabric on the furniture. Jasper's expression is just right in this shot, I love the way he's holding his head a bit sideways, kind of like he's playing with you while you take his picture. Good work. |

Factory Windowsby PaulMdxComment: Very beautiful. Love the shadows made by the steps. I think the title and the picture don't quite match, at least to me, the catching element in the picture are the play of angles between windows, bricks, steps and shadows, in particular the steps and shadows. I like this one. ~9 |

High Riseby ScantyNebulaComment: Wow, this high rise looks like it's going up in smoke (or steam). That lamp is really strange looking. Interesting. |

Urban Blueby DufusComment: Good idea, the sky is very beautiful. The picture might be a bit more effective if the buildings presented a stronger, more defined silhouette (not a sort of flat line with just a couple small breaks). I don't know, something to try. |
