Lonely Daisyby MudHutComment: Lovely. My one little tiny nitpick is the blade of grass coming through two of the daisy's petals; I wish it weren't there. ~7 |

Dead Bugby arsharifComment: Now this is a funny picture, and what an excellent use of shallow DOF (or blurring of the background). I'm not entirely sure it quite works, but as a concept it's great. ~7 |

The Tulipby debbybrisComment: I think the concept is beautiful, yet the tulip seems almost "too skinny" for it to work. It looks like info was lost around the edges somehow. I also am not particularily fond of the border - I don't think it helps the picture here, because it adds this "roundness" to a picture that is very graphic and "flat" in the best sense. |

keysby frogletComment: Old keys, nice shadows. This picture has an "old" quality about it. I like it. ~7 |

Buttonby ckdakeComment: Ah, it took a moment to register. It's a belly-button! Please don't get offended, but the picture is just simply too blurry to work. I think the idea of a belly-button in a corner might work for minimalism though. |

"Arriving in Las Vegas"by sfarrell23Comment: I like this as a concept for minimalist. However, IMO the picture might work better if the bottom 1/8 to 1/6 were eliminated (move camera up a little). But that's just an idea. |

See me up here?by wally5656Comment: It took me a moment to see the bird. The leaves/branches/sky are quite lovely in this shot. Actually, I like his picture quite a bit, it gives the bird and info about where the bird is. But, as "minimalism", I don't know, it seems that the branches/leaves are just too much part of the story for this to entirely work. ~7 |

Parking Lotby dahvedComment: I think the idea is OK, but you need a bit more "information" here. Just the tops of 4 trees and 2 lights doesn't quite do it IMHO. Maybe go back a bit further and have a bit more of the parking lot included, up to about the same height where the tree tops are now? It's just an idea. |
