I had this pegged MUCH higher and gave it a 9. Beautiful, beautiful work. You have a real feel for light I see from looking through your images.

Nicely composed but your lighting is too harsh and unimaginitive and creates a very flat image effect. Move your lights around a bit more and pull the flower away from the background and this could be a very gorgeous shot. As is, kinda average...

if you could get just one shadow from a large, soft light source, i think that would be better, or else pull the flower away from the background so there's no shadow at all

this is very pretty, the head of the rose is so perfect. The background works well too. I see 2 shadows of the rose head, was there 2 sets of lights?

Something makes this rose look fake. Too much NeatImage, perhaps? I like the composition.

Good colour on the rosebud. I think the one thing I find a bit distracting is the double shadow.

The image has too many shadows, spoils the photo a little...probably would have been better just to lay the rose on the background

Exquisite detail on this flower. I love the shadow below the subject. The only (very minor) gripe I have is that it can be hard to look at a stark white background....but I don't think that black would have given this same effect. Perhaps something cream colored next time? Great shot though!

Very nice. Its so perfect it doesn't seem real. The shadows add even more interest to your "minimalism". The composition is great too. I enjoy looking at this photo.

Very awesome! I love the 3-dimensional look of your flower against the white background. The shadow even adds to that. Nice and sharp, and I love the color you chose. It really stands out and makes the picture just beautiful! 10

nice shadowS, perhaps turn rose few degrees so that lower petal and lower leaf aren't both flat and round looking..my mind keeps wanting to see those two things as dots...gl .. 8
