Earbudsby StrikeslipComment: Crisp, clean, well done. However, I think what might be missing is some sort of connection to the viewer besides recognition (oh, yes, it's earbuds). I like the "L" - that helps a bit with making a connection. ~7 |

Shadows Save the Dayby JerseyGenieComment: Beautiful pattern of shadows/subject. I like the sparkles. However, it doesn't really give the impression of a light on white image. ~5 |

Touch of colorby PixelstateComment: Well done! I like the transparent quality of this image, and how the vase seems to get lost into space. Lovely touch of pink. I'm not quite as sure about the centredness of the image, I wonder if placing the subject a bit more to one side would also work. ~8 |

Pure Joyby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Yeah, definitely! She looks like she's having fun. Love that smile, both in the eyes and mouth. The shirt looks like it's pulled up (or is that a blanket?) - I find that somewhat conterproductive here. The definition/tones in the hair are wonderful. ~8 |

Sea Shellby marboComment: Nice control of light here, pretty good focus. IMHO it's a bit too close, there's no context in this image. It's also very centred, which increases the sense of no context. ~6 |

study in Liliesby boodComment: They look transparent. It is light on white. There is something "not real" about this image, was it intentional? I'm on the fence as to wether it works or not. ~6 |

Light-Grey Lichen w/a 'Raspberry'by pixelpigComment: I love this. Especially the light coming from the right, it's so warm. It looks like someone looking at the lichen, a sort of puzzled look, like, "what is that stuff?". Love the little hairs sticking out. ~9 |

Christmas Candlesby EmerkazaComment: Good idea, especially the concept of red on white on white. I think this is one instance where backing off a little might be good, to give a bit of context to the subject. The light seems to be a bit harsh on the round candle also, whereas the background, which needs more light, is grey. ~4 |

coming at yaby nomad469Comment: Lovely baby image! I like how one eye is so much bigger than the other. Focus is spot on. She's beautiful (or he?). ~9 |
