Little Cowgirlby SJCarterComment: The skin is quite beautiful. I like the colours in the jacket and and the matching flower shirt - go great with her skin tone. I like the little touch of blue just peeking in on the hat. The eyes look a bit overdone. |

Morning Light in the Parkby GreetmirComment: At first glance it looks slightly shaky, and it doesn't have much interest. The light being brighter on the trees in back is interesting, but it doesn't show through enough to "make" the image. The light post in the middle is (sorry) annoying :). There seems to be a house, maybe some people also or a machine of some sort by the lightpost - I don't know.
In other words, IMVHO, it is excellent light to explore further, but as a picture to keep this one doesn't quite make it.

Macro Studyby mia67Comment: Beautiful colours, very good selective focus. If anything, IMHO the bud could be placed a bit higher in the frame (or maybe crop the image to a slightly less longer image, cropping about 1/8th off the top. |

Two Daisiesby DeniseLComment: It has, way too long. I've been spending countless hours looking at images from the last couple summers, just because of all the snow and grey. The purple/pink background looks unusual to my eyes, it goes really well with the yellow/orange of the petals. Beautiful repetition.
Added (after reading other comment): I disagree, not overall focus, but maybe focusing more on the front-most petals. What is in focus now are side petals, which makes the image "look" blurry. I think, if the front petals were in focus instead, and there would be no foreground blur, it might work better in this case. Something to try at least. Angelby sherpetComment: Good conversion to B/W, the different crop works well for this version. However, I think the main impact of the photo is the colour (as shown in the original), regardless of crop. In other words, IMHO, the B/W version doesn't have nearly the impact of the original colour version, although I like the crop and would be interested in seeing aa colour version of this crop. |

Fern & Creekby WinkComment: What is the bright white area to the bottom right of the image? Is that the creek? I like it how the fern in focus has a smaller oof echo. |

Ice Blueby SJCarterComment: Beautiful combination of movement (water moving) and perfect stillness (the ice). Lovely grey/blue tones. You're good with water shots. |
