It has, way too long. I've been spending countless hours looking at images from the last couple summers, just because of all the snow and grey. The purple/pink background looks unusual to my eyes, it goes really well with the yellow/orange of the petals. Beautiful repetition.
Added (after reading other comment): I disagree, not overall focus, but maybe focusing more on the front-most petals. What is in focus now are side petals, which makes the image "look" blurry. I think, if the front petals were in focus instead, and there would be no foreground blur, it might work better in this case. Something to try at least.

Nice but ... I would have liked to have seen a bit more DOF to get a better overall focus on the foreground. |
