New Kids on the Blockby kbokevsComment: I think the light in this image is a bit dull, the kids need to either be more of a silhouette, or have better clarity. Also, the connection to "new" is weak - it depends entirely on the title. The bright clouds/light at bottom right is beautiful! ~6 |

My new bedroomby joespiceComment: Unfortunately for me, if it weren't for your title, I wouldn't have the faintest idea that this is a "new" bedroom :) But, since titles are an integral part of the picture .... ~6 |

Dawn's Frist Lightby admart01Comment: Yeah, or light right before the evening comes on. Beautifully backlit, good control of colours (they're hard to control in this situation). ~8 |

new fragranceby Sabrina_WendlComment: Beautifully done. Unfortunately for me, the connection to "new" comes primarily from the title (I wouldn't know that this fragrance is new if your title didn't say so). What I really like about the image is how the colours go so well with the name of the perfume, "waterfalls", and even the composition, a roundish bowl-shape holding the little bottle, sort of like water falling over rocks. Really well done. ~9 |

The Next Donald Trump?by snafflesComment: I love his expression, even the posture of the hands matches his eyes/mouth! The light is a bit harsh here, and the side in the shadow a bit too dark. This is a nice image that would benefit from better lighting. ~6 |

Sheltered From Aboveby RosacalacaComment: The image looks like it has quite a bit of artifacting, I don't know if that is intentional, but to my eyes it is a tad distracting. The connection to "something new" is a bit on the weak side. Otherwise, I really like the shot! A different look at geraniums, it is not usually a flower that is shown from underneath. The colours are quite beautiful also. ~7 |

new friendsby sigrun_thComment: Beautiful B/W. I sort of wish the boy to the left were in as sharp a focus as the boy on the right, but otherwise, a delightful image. |

softby ErinMComment: This is so delicate! The picture looks wonderful by itself also.
Later: Came back here. One thing I like about this is that it doesn't make the image all dark and dreary. So much of overlay imagery tends to go in that direction, at least in the dark direction (maybe not so much in the dreary). I like to see an example of "light" overlay.
