Sunday Afternoon Teaby bsluijkComment: I like this one quite a bit. Did you try it without any of the know at top? I like the little motorcycle in the window that you can see in the reflection. |

Horseby bsluijkComment: Nice, even light. How that horse stays balanced on that block is a mystery! |

0019 - Spoon Variationsby pixelpigComment: I love abstract, and I hope I am getting used to looking at it. It is true that abstract brings different experiences to different viewers, but so do most genres really. This one, to me, is not working as an experience, and as a visual. :) |

4. Kaleidoscopeby PennyStreetComment: She looks either cold or scared, maybe. To my eyes, she is boxed in a bit too much here. The background and the girl in some ways blend really well, but in some ways are fighting with each other and for attention from the viewer. The girl being so boxed in (shoe bottoms just about at the bottom edge, top of hat just about at the top of the picture) makes it look, to me, like she is not really the subject. Which makes the background the subject. But my mind is saying, "No, silly, that's the background!" So the whole thing is the subject. Yet, it seems to be missing something. It's like there's this energy there that is somehow stuck in a box and not going anywhere. Sorry about going on. Not sure exactly what else to say about this picture. |

04 52by salmiakkiComment: Thought that came to mind: "What Picasso could/would have done if he had had a multi-exposure digital available!" Truthfully, I am not sure I quite like this picture. I think it is because the women are mainly from the back and a little bit the side. Too much hair maybe :) The idea of doing multis of people has been floating around in my head forever, I would love seeing you experiment more with this, I have never come up with a successful way to use multis and people's faces. Not yet :) Maybe you will. I find the section of the girl that's lighter (two ears, two shoulders, one mouth, one eye, two chins, one nose, two necks) most interesting. I am thinking that section is worthy of a picture by itself, maybe. |

03/52 - passing momentby mitalapoComment: Neat idea, very interesting. Maybe a bit too much foreground for my taste, especially where the bed-cover curves down towards the bottom. The idea is great though. |

rack of lamb_0314by mariucaComment: I shouldn't have looked at this right when I'm hungry for lunch! I like that you included the pepper at the top left. The colours are juicy. |

3. It's Complicatedby PennyStreetComment: Ha! I like this one! It makes me wonder about what in the world this is all about, and why it is complicated. I like that kind of picture. I like the framing you did with the patterns on the glass. Well seen. |
