quite addictive this double exposure stuff - had a few to choose from this week.

I was in a completely dark room with only a large TV screen lighting the room (it was an art installation)

ISO pushed to the limit almost

This is a great project you've undertaken.

Almost an out of body kind of thing - or yin/yang. Very cool!!

I'm amazed that you could get a double shot with a noisey camera. Or is it quiter than the D700. Impressive quality at such a high ISO - maybe I should upgrade too. I like the result - a candid double take so to speak.

Thought that came to mind: "What Picasso could/would have done if he had had a multi-exposure digital available!" Truthfully, I am not sure I quite like this picture. I think it is because the women are mainly from the back and a little bit the side. Too much hair maybe :) The idea of doing multis of people has been floating around in my head forever, I would love seeing you experiment more with this, I have never come up with a successful way to use multis and people's faces. Not yet :) Maybe you will. I find the section of the girl that's lighter (two ears, two shoulders, one mouth, one eye, two chins, one nose, two necks) most interesting. I am thinking that section is worthy of a picture by itself, maybe.

cool effect. I can see you are going to have so much fun with your theme, and I feel you will gain so much along the way.

Oh my, my fingers could get tired before I type all the things this photo triggers in me - as an old sci/fi fanatic I think of how we live in worlds that are separated by a thin veil - deja vu explained - There just isn't enough time to learn all the amazing things possible using the many techniques possible in photography - my eyes and mind love this type of photography and yet I have not grown enough as a photographer to create such compelling visions - so I will be content (for now) to enjoy the beautiful works of a mind more creative than mine.

Wow...ghostly. This reminds me of that ride at Disneyland...

A bit of an out-of-body effect...it would be cool to see even more separation. So this is the Nikon double exposure feature? It's nice to do it via capture, but have you tried the editing alternativetwo short-succession shots sandwiched? Gives you a bit more control.

I especially like Dennisheckman's comment: one moment watching another moment. The way the light catches and illuminates just the profiles is great.

That is so weird. Looks like something from a sci fie movie. Very neat.

A real time phase differential effect. One moment watching another moment. Well done.

A very trippy effect. It gives a ghostly appearance of more than one person in a seat. Cool!

Was this 2 exposures? Very cool. I wonder what 3 or 4 shots would have done.
