| She looks either cold or scared, maybe. To my eyes, she is boxed in a bit too much here. The background and the girl in some ways blend really well, but in some ways are fighting with each other and for attention from the viewer. The girl being so boxed in (shoe bottoms just about at the bottom edge, top of hat just about at the top of the picture) makes it look, to me, like she is not really the subject. Which makes the background the subject. But my mind is saying, "No, silly, that's the background!" So the whole thing is the subject. Yet, it seems to be missing something. It's like there's this energy there that is somehow stuck in a box and not going anywhere. Sorry about going on. Not sure exactly what else to say about this picture. |

| greatly seen and done, A lot going on and works well. I think the B&W and high contrast make the shot. Holds your attention and makes me want to know whats puzzling her. |

| Her face looks puzzled and slightly frightened - she is lost but her common sense tells her she isn't - the light in front of her feet suggest a staircase and her gaze suggests to me that she is trying to make up her mind as to whether she should go down the steps or ....... I don't know - the textures and patterns in her clothes fascinate me .. almost look like fishnet stockings but too thick ..her gloves and hat tell me it's chilly where she is but the thinness of her outer clothes suggest that fashion means more than comfort - I hope the cup in her hand is warm. I love your title - as a child I always wanted to crawl into the inner part of the kaleidoscope and tumble around in the riot of colors - So many things to enjoy in this shot - thank you. |

| Really like this one. Great lines of the mirrors and great processing. Like the way the textures of coat and trousers blend in with the background textures of those mirrors (maybe not using the right words to describe it, hope you'll get my point). |

| The clothing and the reflections in the mirror surfaces compliment each other and add a singular strength to the message. She appears to be confudled by something, maybe she missed her bus? |
