A Perfect Day for Grayby NeilComment: a shape of rocks among other shapes of rocks becomes your subject, existing only in your eye. how did you get the bird to be in the perfect location? I love the brief white of the foam; I love the sea disappearing into fog. 8 |

Wedgedby jgm5015Comment: ah, sweet mystery of the magic eight ball. it is as if you have captured a dream, only to leave it just beyond our reach. I love the shapes that reach up to the top of the frame and then veer away, confused. many directions going on here, to symbolize the ficklenes of the magic 8 ball. There is only one score I can give such a picture: 8 |

Where is the milk??by MilacroftComment: cat shape + bottle shape interacting directly yet missing each other. the bottle is deliriously sharp and wet, yet the cat is dark and fuzzy with enigma. great crop and composition. a delirious curvy diagonal takes the eye from top right to bottom left. 8. |

My cat - Speedyby broadwaybillComment: I love the grain and the overexposed rectangles. 100 people are going to score you lower for this, but I am going to score you higher. Feel better? ;) the cat is wonderfully expressive, and the composition fits her perfectly into her geometry. 8 |

Violent Eruptionby GIS_boyComment: beautiful. it looks like an eruption because the rock looks like it's only a shadow. layers of beach, ocean, rock, eruption, sky, cloud all build on one another to create what is actually a serene eruption. 9 |

hamburger standby undieyatchComment: the lines of light take this picture into another realm. It's like a cartoon come to life, or life gone to cartoon. it is mysterious in the best possible way. 10 |

Shady Flowerby inanutshellComment: great energetic demonic crazy shape. the grain just makes me feel like I'm in an old vampire movie. Halfway between Lugosi and Murnau. 8 |
