Thanks to my wife, Kelly for being the cream pourer. Another nice learning lesson, this time dealing with correct exposure with crazy light and colors and reflections. The cheesecake was really good!

the grey background hurts this IMO

This could be a stock type photo. It's interesting to look at but doesn't really convey the message of 'Stopping Motion' for the challenge. Yes, I know, the cream is mixing with the tea/coffee - I'm making the point from a general viewer stand point. Many DPC voters are fast and are going to miss the message or find the subject a bit too mellow if you know what I mean. JMO of course. Best of luck in the challenge to you.

It took a while looking at this to figure out where the motion was, that'll probably count against the picture. That said, I like it, though the silver container to the front is distracting a little.

nice idea, but it is really subtle. i think the foreground object doesn't really add to the photo, and maybe if the pouring had been more on an angle. all the same, i hope the violent mixture isn't lost on the speed voters.

Simplifying this scene would likely improve this image.

I've always been fascinated by this, too. Nice choice, though I suspect a lot of folks won't "get it" if they don't look. I'd have moved the silver thingie in the front out of the way, though.

Would have liked to see the spout, right now the stream of milk/cream looks like a straw.
