A study in H2O 2by DragonphenxComment: another great kid in the water shot (the best one in this free study). Good whirl of color and light, good sense of immersion, of letting go. 9 |

Parkedby MelethiaComment: a stunning display of the geometry that surrounds us. Notice how they are individuals yet completely networked together into a greater being... and at the same time you never let us forget the banality of the setting. The high contrast is perfect for this. 10 |

Albertby Penny LaneComment: Oh Albert, my uncle, my prince! How I adore you and love you, how I *am* you. Yes, I see myself in that corner. I feel your resolve, and how it feels the same as resignation. 10 |

Inner childby PeterPicComment: So simply and directly you convey something that could take hours to explain. A child innocently holding up an emotion he does not understand. The way we lift up signs without truly knowing what they signify, the way we get into lines and parades and demonstrations and offices and try to feel a certain way because we are scheduled to do so, and because we have flat white helpers with big letters.
One can sense consequences right outside the frame. The photo is funny and tragic at the same time... mostly tragic in the time and mood I am in. 10 |

Pollen Catcherby geekssweetComment: I have never cares so much for a macro. The bee is caught in such a deep embrace, revealing the desperation of its need, and everything is soft and grainy like an old movie. 10 |

On top of itby jjbeguinComment: that is one profound pile of chairs. it becomes their habitat, and they are supremely at home their. I feel like I'm looking at a pride of lions, or a leatherclad gang from the 50s. Their beverage cans become icons of leisure. One boy dares to look into the depths of his environment, but here the story ends. We are left to wonder what he finds, what he dares to see. 10 |

Adult Swimby irishempressComment: the boy's expression is perfect, and the composition, though complex, effectively draws the eye to the boy. this photo feels like a classic from the 50s or 60s. It's static, but jazzy. Reality is condensed into highly figurative shapes that are forced to mingle with each other. 10 |
