by boysetsfireComment: even with all this chaos, everything leads to the center where the child is. One thinks that this is the chaos he has been born into. And look at the bottom! You're in the photo, too! |

And the ship sails onby LevTComment: subtleties are so important. my favorite thing about this photo is how the bar seems to be bending in her hat. This creates a real connection between girl and bars that I can feel. It shows that she is getting too close to them, pressing futilely against them. your composition gives us a teasing view of the world she's trying to get at. Eeyore is resigned to misery, as is his way. But he waits faithfully.
I wouldn't change a thing. |

Leslieby yankoComment: I think just a little more variation between pose 1 and pose 2 would make this a really striking work. but then it's pretty striking as it is. Or perhaps spanking is a better word.
this photo gives me a lot to think about, whether I want to or not. One thing I find myself doing is comparing what he looks like to what I imagine he wants to look like, or thinks he looks like.
i like that he is his own parade, sharp and colorful amid a grey motion-blurred crowd.
and how exactly could this NOT look weird? :D |

Cliveby cpanaiotiComment: the oof shapes of the horses and trees are really lovely. we see just enough of the foreground horse to identify with him, to wonder if everything else is just taking place in his mind. perhaps those fuzzy shapes behind him are memories... |
