Austin's renown Leslie Cochran. Pardon the sloppy editing. The first two frames had background motion blur but the last one didn't. Still looks weird to me but oh well.

I think it's kinda neat that people are nonchalantly walking by like this is normal.
I think putting three pics together is the ONLY way this would work... he is a character who is at his best when he is moving, I would think. The movement is great. I loved this pic.

(I thought NYC was weird.) The background matters not a bit to me. It's a great, tasteful, sequence. Without three frames, IMO, you would not have got over his/her vibrant character as well as you do. Better still, you did not add triptych frames or any such extra distraction. Nice work.

It was a quick edit. I stitched them together and blurred the last frame a little just so it matched the other two.

The point of the three frames was because I felt it told what happened better than any single frame did. I was walking. He was walking. I brought my camera up to shoot as he walked by and he did what he did. In short I simply captured what happened. Nothing more nothing less. Frankly, it would be rather difficult to capture him being anything different.

Well, I love the way you put these 3 pics together but the subject is disturbing. I think the freckly butt is nasty

My first reaction was: click on the thumbnail! Someone tell the poor man that there is a skirt that goes with that outfit! And what's the whistle for? lol

Is this three shots layered into one? Very neat shot and quite a character capture.

I think just a little more variation between pose 1 and pose 2 would make this a really striking work. but then it's pretty striking as it is. Or perhaps spanking is a better word.

this photo gives me a lot to think about, whether I want to or not. One thing I find myself doing is comparing what he looks like to what I imagine he wants to look like, or thinks he looks like.

i like that he is his own parade, sharp and colorful amid a grey motion-blurred crowd.

and how exactly could this NOT look weird? :D

He is a trip isn't he? Hadn't seen him in awhile. Great capture.

my first reaction: my eyes might have been able to handle one but not three of them at the same time :~D
the contradiction of his quite masculine looking face and his dress is making this guy an interesting character to examine. i wonder why he didn't choose to make his face look more feminine. may be he has a life as a normal looking male during week days and becomes a drag queen only in the weekends? many questions as such come to mind.
i have to agree with rina on that pink flower, doesn't go with those flip flops and also those red socks. i personally don't like the combination of pink and red much.
agree with tim, i wish this was your triptych entry, i would have loved to see people's reactions and read the comments left on this during the challenge.

Oh my! My first reaction if I had allowed it to follow through would have entailed me having to detail out my keyboard because of the technicolor yawn that would have happened. This just isn't right. Like the selective desat though. But boy this shot creeps me out. It should have been your triptych entry.

omfg... what the heck is going on here please? And for the love of everything sweet and holy, why? Why the pink flower in the hair? It so clashes with the flip flops... :O

Sorry, that's not very helpful. Ok, background motion blur issues? I can't see much, if any, difference. A fun sequence put together very smoothly.
