All Along the Watch Towerby mgarsteckComment: it's okay... kind of a good composition with a dramatic imbalance to the left... the watchtower is almost personified... the details are sharp and there's a real sense of three dimensions. overall it doesn't quite grab my attention, though. |

Hey! Outta The Way!by Mochrie99Comment: you've got to work on your dialog. ;) I like the chaotic composition, but I think it clashes with your attempt to tell a story that exists only in the foreground. Perhaps this is because the birds are centered vertically. That might be a mistake. |

Kokuraby robaComment: wacky, like the setting of a kung fu video game. The two opponents fight each other on the surface of the water. (ever see Hero?) |

Hello there!by timfythetooComment: pretty good composition with leading lines that point to your subject's brain. It makes us wonder what she's thinking. It's a little too posed for my taste, but there is a hint here of a real girl, perhaps a little impatient with this exercise. As a viewer, my plea is: give me something to believe in. |

Arabellaby joshuadamonComment: something metallic, robotic about this image. The painting with light is perhaps meant to symbolize music, but is too much like the guitar. perhaps if the light had a different color temperature then we would get the feeling of something special emanating from the guitar. Right now it just looks like something is caught in the strings. Nice shapes on the curves, though. But the composition is a little cramped. |

Retired and Restoredby SDWComment: that grill is freaking me out. it's practically vibrating. it's reaching out from the picture and poking me in the eye. Really odd processing job. Maybe it was a big crop that forced you to blow up the image and reveal some noise? I wonder if you had to crop so much. This composition is rather dull, with the subject filling the frame. Gotta give you a point for that grill, though! |

Dying of Thirst!by Dirt_DiverComment: the dying rose is lost in shadow. the in-studio appearance gives this a rather clinical feel. |

After the service....by salmiakkiComment: nicely exposed shot. I know how tricky that is inside a cathedral. this composition has been done to death, however. |
