This can only succeed as eye candy, and as such it has some problems: it is black and white with a big dark vignette, and you're cropped too close for eye candy lovers. Still there is a lot of detail on the face. I think you'll get a straight 6

It's interesting how some shots of nothing offend me and some please me. I think it's when the nothing is pretending to be something that I am offended, because so much of the world is like that. But it's refreshing to see nothing allowed to be nothing, which in turn reveals its potential to become something. Six from me, and from DPC you are right on the money. 4.3

Maybe you'll reach that score, but there's an awful lot of soft foreground. I find it a competent shot but I can't help but imagine there's some liquid dripping off the cymbal that he's trying to get a taste of. Not a pleasant image for me. I'll guess 5.74

I think you're about right. The focus is too soft for DPC to go higher, but they do like bright colors. They're kind of like bass in that way. Just put a shiny lure in the water and BLAM!!! 5.5

don't flatter yourself. Nobody can achieve that perfect score. Admittedly, DPC voters will not handle this image well. It will give them indigestion. But this is still a 4.4

your guess is too low. DPC will like the bright color of the door and the beautiful tones of that color caused by shade and shadows.

I like the composition, which feels very stable even though it's off balance. Six from me, and from DPC a 5.45

I think your guess is a little low. There is a certain drama to the shot, and lots of sharpness, which DPC likes.

I like the part that DPC won't like, the disorienting composition, which makes the climber seem to be in a dangerous situation.

But it all evens out, and my guess for DPC is the same as my score; 6
