Well my friend you are learning the hard way which is good. DPC does not like over processed images like this. I agree that the b&w would have been a better way to go. Also I would have moved away from the building a bit so I could more easily tell what it was an image of. Keep on Keepin' on my brotha'.

It's neat but it doesn't say WOW to me. I think having just the flame when other images have more going on either compositionally or technically, hurts this image. It looks almost as if it could be a piece of fabric. 4

ETA: Ok I will expand a bit. The fun of the image is let down by the fact that I can't tell you made the face with fire. I assume it is fire but I can't tell. The fact that it looks almost like an after thought also in my mind hurts the image. I think the idea would be better suited for painting with light.
