how do you expect to score higher if you submit such eccentric work?

I love the abstract nature of this. The colors are great, the focus looks good on parts of it, I do wish the depth was deeper or touched on more of the brownish areas. I like the contrast of the cool colors against the darker brown/blacks. Composition is good, the image is a tad busy which makes it difficult to find a place for my eye to rest but in an overall sense it works together nicely. I gave a 6

Excellent abstract and fabulous textures. The ice blue color is so contrary to the challenge.

I don't understand what's going on in this shot, but the textures and the colours are interesting. 9

Awesome effects and abstract coloring. Allows the viewer's imagination to take over.

I'm just confused as to what I'm looking at - other than the title I can't see the link to fire

I need some specific blues or yellows or reds for fire and the cyan is not working for this. The composition is to messy to understand what it is other than abstract. 3

Is this fire? Giving you the benefit of the doubt here, it's difficult to tell what I'm looking at and the composition is rather chaotic.

Nice texture and I like the color. I still can't decide if I think it is a marshmellow or the gel from a sterno. :)

Interesting composition. I like the diagonal, shapes and textures with the krypton like colors. Are these ember with the colors changed? Nice image.
