An excellent flower study, that I would have rated a 9 (not 10 for the too bold border) under any other circumstances; superb DOF and tones, petals don't blend with the bright, clear background; interesting crop taht creates a nice gradient from bottom right to top left. Unfortunately the whole picture is too crisp to meet the challenge. My lower vote shouldn't hurt your score, though, as we all know the majority of voters doesn't care for the challenge topic - good luck! Added to favs.

a very good flower shot that I would have rated 8 or 9 in a different challenge. really like colors, lighting and the crispness - but that's what makes it fail to meet the challenge
