Shells and Driftwoodby PrismComment: I like the mood of this photo. the blurred wood on the bottom-right I could do without, but that's just me. Nice nonetheless. 9 |

Early Bloomby amsterComment: this is actually a very nice composition, as I see on the thumbnails. I think this photo would improve greatly if the focus has been sharper, and the contrast is bumped a little higher? |

Pet Therapyby suemackComment: I absolutely love this shot.
The emotion in it!
Technical wise, good B/W photo with just the right amount of grain. |

hommageby messerschmittComment: This is such a lovely photo. Would do very well with greeting cards. Captivating details, and a very good control of light. Good work. |

The Oculusby RikkiComment: from the "very first DPC challenge submission" thread.
who could have imagined this to be the work of Rikki :p
well to be honest, it's not a bad picture - 4.6 is a pretty decent score. Maybe if you have used a larger size for it, it would have reached a 5. |

Essenceby elsapoComment: I have seen this face before... very familiar... oh, the "Heart" challenge! JUSTIN! :) OK ok, some comments on the photo instead. I like it. Her eyes, they are simply mesmerizing. Like the way you cropped this, it's a tight crop and well suited for this potrait. Good lighting too. To be nit-picky, I would have preferred if your silhoute is not reflected on her eyes. 9 |
