I love the softness of this image and wonderful detail! Your editing works nicely and B&W suits this nicely :o) The only thing I would say is that the models right eye being half out of the image is a little distracting, not sure how you could have cropped it better though...sorry!

Interesting composition, I really like the idea here! For me the steeple is too blown out and the overall image a little too noisey. Definitely one to try and retake IMHO as it would look great if there was some detail in that steeple! :o)

Now for straight from the camera I actually quite like this!! I like the inclusion of a little yellow in the foreground and you have done well to capture a sense of scale here! I think the colours could do with a boost as it looks to have been an overcast day? But, maybe you've edited this since? :o)

I really like the detail here and the composition is perfect. Converting to B&W some how suits the 'feel' of this image but I would agree with one of your commenters about parts being a little overexposed - mainly the earring for me...but, this could be intentional! I'm not sure why this didn't score higher as to me it's a well taken image...I'll never understand the DPC voters! :o)

How anyone could love these things I don't know! This is one serious macro! The detail is just amazing...a shot I can only wish I could take! The only thing I would say negatively is that the colours are a bit dull, I dont know if you could improve on the colours and still keep the wonderful detail but I'd be interested to see :o)
