I like the pureity of this shot, and it feel quite emotional to me, the viewer.....

I love the purity of this image - the composition thoughtfully keeps only the essential elements to express your sentiment. Lovely.

I really like the detail here and the composition is perfect. Converting to B&W some how suits the 'feel' of this image but I would agree with one of your commenters about parts being a little overexposed - mainly the earring for me...but, this could be intentional! I'm not sure why this didn't score higher as to me it's a well taken image...I'll never understand the DPC voters! :o)

The first thing that comes to mind here is the honesty associated with the photo here, although there is a blatant attempt at an artsy look within the photo context, there is certainly no overt attempt to use makeup or neat image to give a glamorous look to the shot. Because of the eye and nose in lips you understand that the photographer, via the title, is certainly in love with This person and feeling and the heart shows through with this photograph. in that sense, it's one of the best photos in this challenge.

A little overexposed. I think it need more shadow to standout.

I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......
