My mind boggles to what this is..... Is is a kitchen utinsil, a bay's soft rubber teething ring, a mechanical tool (don't think so but whatever it is it has been well photographed. It is a very strong image, surperb lighting, and great composition. Very dramatic and shoud do well in this challenge as it is a great shape.....

Super textured shapes here, great compoeition and it also has a great metallic feel to it..... I also like the reflection and slight color in the pool of water lying between the various shapes/ridges of sand. I just love this image, and hope it does well. Definately one of my favorites.....

I love this image, and also your other budgie one, as I used to have three averies and breed budgies. I have a cute pet budgie called Buddy, and I think he will be my first subject, re if I ever do some photographs.
