The flashlight again... hmm. I like the way the lighting worked on both shots. I'll have to keep that in mind and try it out over the next month! I like how the shadow appears as a taller and thinner glass... neat effect.

I usually vote in the middle range the first time through, and then adjust my votes on round two... rarely do I find a shot that I like so much that it gets an automatic 10, but this is just stunning! The wet dirt, water droplets on the leaves, the slight movement of the rain, and the bright red umbrella are all perfect, and the dof is right on. I'm sure this was completely set up, and someone is probably holding a watering can over this little plant, but who cares. Wonderful job!

I was just doing some painting myself, and thought about taking a shot of some brushes... but this is much better than what I had envisioned. Love the array of colors and shapes. Did you try to hide the well used one in the back there? Nice job!

This is fantastic! Perfectly focused, and the dof is great for this shot. I'm not seeing the dragon so much... maybe a different color background would help spark my imagination? I love macros like this! I hope you continue this trend through the 30 days!
