7: Good idea. The "lite" bottle seems not vertical which detracts a little. I'd like to see more of the other bottles to emphasize the "rising up" concept.

Reflections on a Purple Dress

On first look I didnt notice that this is a reflection in a mirror so I thought the shoulder in front was a distracting element - if "quick voters" also took this thought that may have cost some points. Once I looked properly I see it is a nice image but the purple is just not prominent for this challenge. The composition is good and the lighting adds interest (especially on her hair). I'm still not sure that the blurred shoulder actually works in this shot.

Nice colours in the sky. Where did you take this from? It is a non-typical angle you have used which gives the skyline a nice descending angle as the image goes to the right.

Nice combination of cours and good DOF. I like the way you have composed this to give the feel that the berries go on and on forever. My only gripe is that the green of the containers shows through - but its not to intrusive.

This is a really nice photo. The bad thing (for the challenge) is that it is "nice" and not "wow'. I think if you could have made the purple a more vivid shade that would help a lot. Currently it has a pastel feel to it.

The composition is good and the brush adds a nice element of interest to draw the eye in.

Blimey! What a difference from the original. I would have looked at the original and said "nothing special, move on" but this has come out fantastic. Good work.

I this was very under-rated in the challenge as this is a great image. The DOF is good and the slightly off-centre composition is interesting. I'm not sure of the original colours but this may have scored better in colour if the colours were such that they "jumped out" at the viewer. A partial desat on the floor area could have emphasised that.

A good idea but the bright light in the water drops this to a 6
