I don't know what this is. If I stared at it long enough I might figure it out. But why when I like it. The sky through it is beautiful. Appears to be a storm coming. The focus and light are great. If I were going to change anything I might have cropped a little tighter on the left side, up against the uprights. To me that would make it more mysterious. That also would crop out some of the shadow, making the wire look black on that side. I'll gladly give this a 7 right now, maybe highter before the challenge is over.

Beautiful old square building with square windows and square writing. This is a beautiful photo. just wish the sky wasn't so washed out. Can't believe the condition of the grounds with the condition of the building. Building being so run down. I really like the photo for a 7.

Can't really tell what this is. Is it a navigational lock and dam? I see the many squares was just trying to figure out what the photo was of. Focus a little soft for me, making it hard to see what it is. The background is cluttered and distracting. Probably would help if maybe you had pulled back and showed a little more of it. Anxious to find out about this one.

I think this a beautiful. Love the background, great choice. It helps the photo stay sentimental. Beautiful piece of barn wood. Beautiful grain, and it shows up so well. The square looks like, and is in about as good of shape, mine I have of my father's. Truly great photo, and the techs are good also. It's a 9

Third time is not a charm, it is 2 times to many. Didn't appreciate the writing before and still don't. Could have gotten several good shots in the time it took to do this.

Great idea just didn't turn out as well as could have. Good try though. Keep at it.

Love the title and dirty vent. But what is behind it. It's very distracting and ruined an otherwise very good photo for the challenge. Took it from a 7 to a 4.

Breakfast - your first square meal

Someone went to a lot of trouble for this one. Toast is a tad burnt on the top edge, one yoke of the outside egg is a little darker than the other, The butter on the toast did not melt. Now for the photo: It's great. I love it. A colored plate might have helped see clearly the eggs are also square. But it's still good. Now I'm hungary. I'll give you an 8 and fix me the same thing.

The whole right side of the photo appears washed out. And it contains several squares. I can't tell if the square with the fan in the stone on the left is supposed to be your subject. If it is you should have somehow cropped out the rest. That stone is nicely focused, clear, readible, nice color, but it causes the majority of the photo to wash out. Personally I'm ok with the photo, not excited but ok, but I have different tastes from most. I'll give it a 5. Needs better execution.

I like the idea of taking the photo at an agle. Just personally don't like this angle. Makes the tope of the ducks sign fade out. Also placement is akward in fame - hard to center it diagonally.
