I love the bird of paradise flower. This is such a beautiful photo of it. I really wish you would havae it on a white background so the color of it stood out on it's own. Also wish you could have gotten rid of the shadows. This is such a georgeous sample of this specimen. Still a great photo with really nice focus and cropping. Rates an 8 as it is.

Love the shot but wish it didn't have so many shadows. I can't tell if that is long hair from the person in front or a shadow on the lady in back. At first look I thought it was two women of different cultures. Then as I looked at the face qualities I wasn't sure if the person in the front was a man or a woman. I like the idea of the shadows just not so pronounced that I can't tell where the hair ends and the shadow starts. I hope you can understand. I love the sepia tone. Really nice one. Just, for me, needs a little different execution. Otherwise it would be a 10 in my book.

Like the angle of the shot. Well done. Is there a scheme to the color arrangements of the other one?. Nice focus. Wouldn't have hurt it to be a little ighter, but didn't hurt it not to be either.

Nicely done macro. Not an easy one to get as sharp and clean as you did. Congratulations on that. Almost looks like an owls eye as open as it is.

Really beautiful rose and baby's breath, but too busy of a background. Also would have taken the red one out and had all the flowers in focus. Personally the back of the photo in focus, moving to the front to out of focus is not my forte. This would have been beautiful with a solid black background and all in focus. Nice composition, but badly needs better execution.

Don't want to nit-pic, but.....since it does have writing on it, I personally think the writing should have been turned toward the camera so it could be read, or turned away so no one would know there was any writing. Other than this I really love this photo. The blue is so beautiful, and the whitish ice is so neat floating on top of the water. Really nice one.

Cute. I like everything except the shadows. They spoil an otherwise really nice photo that meets the challenge. Not too sure about the border because it's not the exact same shade of yellow as the bowl. Really the bowl doesn't appear to be the same color all over because of the shadows. Nice composition just needs better execution.
