I've been trying to figure out what it is about this photo that is bothering me and I think I finally figured it out. i'ts to closely cropped. This makes it look crammed in there. Pull back a little and put a litle more light one it and it's right on. I like the crystal sharpness of the focus - the details of the hand. Very good. Pulling back would add at least 3 points in my opinion. As is i can only give it a 6.

I don't think mymonitor is that much off but I don't see yellow. I see plenty of red and brown, some with at the tips of the limbs, but where's the yellow.

Need more of the bottom to make it more complete. Right now it looks to me like it's missing something. Great idea and photo just needs a little more to it.

Rising Sun

Don't really see the rising sun in this but do think it's a neat photo. Shadows are a little harsh. Love the using of a yoke. Nice focus and croping, just don't see the rising sun. Nice photo and good idea.

Nice color, good texture and focus. Well lit. A little to tightly cropped for me personally. I would have liked more of the black background to be seen all the way around. But till a good shot.

Very nice idea of combining the two - building and flowers. Cropped the way you hvae it I would like to see a little more on the right side. There may be something worth adding. If there is nothing more on the right side I personally would have cropped it differently, squaring around a little more on the building and adding more of it on the left. But you know what's available to add and I don't. Just a thought. It is a wonderful photo as it is. Great colors and focus. Well done.

Not light enough to make your subject standout from everything else. And there's too much of everything else. If you had a plainer background you could put more light on it withou making it look cluttered. Nice subject and idea, just needs a little better execution.

Beautiful evening shot. I've never seen a manufacturing plant look so beautiful as in this photo. Looks almost like a chemical plant. The steam clouds add so much in my opinion. Great composition with good execution. Good solid 8 on this.
