I have my doubts as to you being on the space shuttle so this must be a stage shot somewhere. It does show technology for sure. Appears a little crowded but I guess they are.. Light wise, it needs more light in the bottom corner. Everything just seems to suddenly disappear there. Focus is good. Composition is good. Crop, like I said seems crowded. Meeting challenge is great. Overall is a really good shot. PTL

Technology and Art: Moscow Metro

If you're talking about the metro that moves you underground...that is way long ago technology. It sacred the...out of me. 200 miles an hour, shaking side to side, lights going out. You can have it.. As for the picture whatever the light reflections or shadows from the man, under the statue, under the looks like arrows and between them is odd. I would have cropped out the dark object on the right. It is out of focus and useless to the picture. You still would've gotten the arc and the man. Besides that way both sides of your picture would have been partial arcs. Other wise good picture. PTL

Basic Technology

You got that right. And they haven't much improved on the wheel barrow yet either. And I'm not sure how you could have improved on this shot. Others will say too much greenery behind, but I really like that. I especially like the flowers in front. The two together frame the wheel barrow. You hit the nail on the head for the challenge. All this goes together to make one great shot, with some fun thrown in. Thanks for some fun with the great pic. PTL Like this better and better all the time. So much so I'll take you from an 8 to a 10. Great job. Look at the wheel and the use that wheelbarrow has had.

I can only assume this is a heart pace maker. If so, wow. How is the patient doing? This is one of a kind for sure. Meets the challenge well. Wondering about the crop - not 1/3's but tight on top, sides, and loose on bottom? doesn't really hurt it, just wondered. Little dark? Soft focus works for this. Great shot. PTL

I like how clear the screen is, that's so unusual. Lookes like Rascal's done more than SIT at the window. I like this one. Can think of lots a reasons others are going to give not to. But that's their problem..Good close up of the cat and the screen. That's not easily done. Great solid 6. PTL

If you are as good a mechanic as you are photographer, you'll have that baby purring any minute. Great job. Love the whole concept and the photo ain't bad either. Good contrast, great color, good crop job, may lack interest to some but really good subject and meeting of challenge. Not a lot technically wrong with this pic. PTL

What is the dark 1/4 of the picture besides a waste. The next 1/4 meets the challenge. And the last 1/2 is all empty space again. Focus is clear but that is about all. 1/4 of 10 points is 2.5 so I can't give you more than that for composition and another 1/5 for focus gives you a 4. Wanted you to know how I arrived at such low score so you could see it is a fair score. Sorry PTL
