I'm assuming this is a computer - I know very little about the use of them, much less the inners and workings of. You could tell me anything was a computer and I would believe you. The picture is clear, but soft in focus, which I like. Too sharp with those colors could hurt the eyes. You must know what you are doing with computers and appear to know with cameras. Good job. A solid 7. PTL

This is being at the right place at the right time. A once in a lifetime shot. Good photo. I would have cropped a good bit of the black sky off and "tried" to focus it on the level of the street. Hope this was a long zoom lens you used or you got mighty hot taking it. If long zoom, just not zoomed so closely. Even gotten more to each side, especially to the right. . Congratulations of being there at that time. Hope this does well for you. I'll give it a 7, especially for the event. PTL

I can find nothing wrong with this photo. Some will say something about a shadow, but it's no problem, really. Very well done, as a photo goes. Very to the point as to profession. Nothing really exciting but technically right on. Can't give less than a 9, and that because lacks "wow" or pi. And don't know how you'd get that in it. PTL

Your biggest problem with this whole photo is ---- it is a lie!!! No student ever studied at this neat of a desk. I love the color of the desk, and feel you should have used the desk as the entire background without any of the wall. I personally think you cropped it a little too tight on the left side. Should have let the edges of the books be in, even if you had to slide them closer to the paper, like the text book is. That would have made it more uniform, also. Otherwise, good shot worthy of a 7. PTL

Sell, taste, or manufacture? Love the texture and color of your background, and the table they are sitting one. Don't understand why you have them offset on the table, and the brown button(?) on the table on the right is distracting. Also the white streaks going down the bottle and the can are very distracting. Soft focus is ok with me on this, rather like it in fact. Clear up the small shadows of the table, the light streaks, and the brown button and it's a great picture. Still worth a 7, as it it. PTL

I like the way you did this shot. B&W works well for you in this shot. Needs to be a little lighter and your surrounding area is cluttered, which I realize is at work, so won't take off much for that. Easy to tell what your job is so met the challenge well. Overall score is a respectable 7. PTL

office job - distracting view...

This is my absolute all time favorite photo!!! It is awesome. Some of my likes are, starting at the top: The beautiful blue sky with the green lights in the top section; dropping to the red glow of the lights on the next 2 sections, with a slight red glow of the sky next to them; coming on down to all the office lights on in the next section bringing us in the the sunset; which is a beautiful soft red mixing into a beautiful yellow; bringing us down to the dark bottom, which is a fitting ending place. My dislikes: that this is not mine and hanging on my wall right n ow, or better yet a mural . This is awesome and the epitomy of great photography. Congratulations on a job well done. You deserve a score of 20 in my opinion, but since I can't I'll give you 2 tens. PTL

Building an apple

This is so cute. Hope you don't use it building or repairing computers. Get a screwdriver, please. Good idea, good composition, like the cropping, nice execution. Only complaint is a little dark. The apple could stand out better if there were a little more lite on it or whole photo lightened a little. Other wise good shot, worth a 7 for sure. PTL

What a unique way to advertise. Good photo, well focused. Like the cropping and the black background. Only problem I have is it is just a little dark at the tops of the finger puppets. You almost lost the top of the elephant and lion. I say this realizing if you lightened much more you would blow out your sign, so it came down to choice. You chose the better of the two, in my opinion. Main thing it lacks for me is "wow" and personal interest. But it is a good solid 8. PTL

I'm taking it the spot on the forehead is where the shot is lined up to hit. Just toooooo dark. Can't see enough of the face. Good idea, just poor execution - oops that was a poor choice of words, too. Sorry can't give but a 2, and that's mainly for the idea. PTL
