Thantophobia - fear of dyingby petrakkaComment: Hmmm, I'm not sure how this scares me. I think we are all afraid of dying, but I'm not sure this fence scares me to death. Maybe it's the vast emptyness on the other side. Anyway, this is actually a good photograph by technical aspects. I can't quite give you a great score though because it just doesn't bring a lot of fear to the viewer. |

Fear of what lurks in the Darkby NobodyComment: This one is great. Nice job with the lighting and grainy look. The only thing is the molding that shows through the person standing in the room. I orignally thought it was maybe his dad, but with the molding showing through, it appears to be a ghost. If it were a ghost, why not make it much scarier? |

Fear of Suicideby angela_packardComment: Nice shot. This one does a good job of meeting the challenge. A few specks of dust or fuzz, but I realize you couldn't spot edit, so no biggie. 7 |

Mrs Cardinalby bormicComment: Very nice! Just missed the tail of the bird, but very nice shot. When you get a chance, PM me with what kind of lense you use for your bird shots. I want to start doing some bird photos, but I don't have the right lense for it. Thanks and nice shot! |

Black & Whiteby medoComment: This is a really cool shot. I think it would have had a bigger bang if the bottom 3 pencils were in focus, but I still like this. This is one of the best so far. |

NI NOCHE NI TARDEby JudaveroComment: This is a pretty amazing shot. I don't see the tie in to the shallow DOF, but cool shot nonetheless. It looks like you must have run this with an ISO 1600 or something, because it turned out pretty grainy. |

In the Deer's Realmby AlexSaberiComment: Wow, this is amazing. It is rare to see this many big bucks all together. Well, at least it is here in California. What a great shot, great composition, great, great, great. |
