Presenting the opposition between the total lack and the mix of all colors. The colors themselves are the ones dividing the two extremes.

As a note : I think that Derwent makes the best artistic crayons.

This would make such a nice ad shot for Derwent. Nice composition.

This is a very bold image ... not so much bold as in foolhardy, but bold as in dramatic. I like it. The black space dis wonderfully divided from the white space by the jagged line of pencils. I like that a lot. I almost requested a DQ for adding text, but then realized the text was on a pencil. Glad I caught myself.

This is a really cool shot. I think it would have had a bigger bang if the bottom 3 pencils were in focus, but I still like this. This is one of the best so far.

5 - Like this, good potential. Criticism; 640 would have helped this a lot. More attention paid to the lone pencil being straight, as well as just a fraction sharper on it, would have made this better in my opinion.
