Soulful Soundsby essayComment: With the motion blur I can almost hear his melody. I think the tungsten cast on him competes with the buildings behind him. Would a b/w conversion work? |

Kega's Caricature Stand - Street Artistby Dirt_DiverComment: Shots like this are hard to critique. Technically it's good, the post processing is good, it's just missing something that I can't pinpoint. Maybe had a customer or onlooker been there watching him draw, that added human element would be the 'missing' piece for me. |

Palsby GreatJobBobComment: This shot conveys an unconditional love. With the grain in the image, did you try a black and white conversion? |

Getting the shot..by salmiakkiComment: I'm sure if someone was speed voting this shot, they'd miss all the faces in this shot and what each group is doing. While it may be a simple shot of a wedding party getting their photo taken, there's more depth to the shot than the average voter will see. Good capture. |

Aloneby dougi555Comment: Color, toning, use of thirds is good. I just am not drawn into your image. This may not be true, but I feel you and a friend found this spot, and he posed for you. And since he doesn't want people to see him, he's covered his head with the hood. Like I said, I may be wrong, but that's what I feel when I look at this shot. |

Into The Lightby nheilweilComment: People walking into the scene, in my opinion, will make for a stronger image, as I feel they become more of the scene. If we see them leaving the shot, then we are pulled out of the image and don't pay attention to the rest of the shot. My eye goes from top middle, down the line to the tree, then the white ledge, to the person, and out the image.... it doesn't return. |

The Balloon Manby SteveJComment: This screams for you to be engaged with the person and have a tighter portrait shot with the balloons interacting with the photo. You may have reservations about approaching someone, but I feel he could be a great character study. The shot now is a little flat and disengaged. |

Street Basketball by JudiComment: Your toning and post processing on this shot really really make it. The subjects are fun to look at and the overall balance of the shot works. Very well executed. |
