Day 11by JeniYComment: YES! My place! :o) Great composite - describes exactly what it looks like when I go through the drivethrough. Awesome. Good colors. |

2nd-Day-11-slice-of-life.jpgby joynimComment: Yes, Bill looks like the proverbial caged bird. But the gray cage wire works well with his plumage. I suppose they are not hand tame? Other than you putting the camera into the cage or taking the bird out of the cage I wouldn't have any wise ideas how to avoid getting the wires in the photo.
But that aside - love the photo and the story. Probably the more you talk to them, the more Ben will come around. |

Oct09: Isabgul Seed in Rose Syrupby citymarsComment: You did a great job. This is an intriguing photo - the different light sources and the strange beverage in the glass, and the guy, of course. Very cool perspective, too. |

day 11. slice of life. a bee?by rozComment: The detail is - wow. Love the colors here, too - like in the creature photo. I'm usually not into bug shots, but you make them look so fairy-tale-like and it's easy on the eyes and the gag reflex. That bush I keep on photographing... it's full of bees. They are very very busy, though. Not a one would hold still long enough for me to focus on it to take a shot. Too bad - I've tried. Bees don't gross me out so much and I'm not afraid of them. In fact, a few times a year I'll get a small swarm coming into my apartment. The buzz around all confused. Then they fly up to the skylight - to the light! To the light! There they bang themselves silly against the glass and die. Afterwards I have bee corpses all over my carpet. I really didn't intend to write such a tome, but I seem to be on a roll... :oD |

day 11.slice of life. possibly a beeby rozComment: Sweet. Love the colors and the shimmer on the creature. I think it's a type of fly... like I'm a big Australian Insectologist... In any case, the photo is lovely. Totally good for Macro - hope you have something like that to submit. My Flora is bombing so badly that I think I'm possibly never going to submit anything again. |

day 11. slice of life. laughter is the best medicineby rozComment: Fun fun photo! Love the diagonal line from the tongue to the ear. Fabulous detail - and Katee is just the sweetest looking dog. She does look like she's laughing.
I hope all is ok with her throat. If she's eating, pooping, peeing, playing and her nose is wet, she should be fine. Maybe, like Sandy said, it's a stain from something she ate.
Keep us updated. OXO Alicia |

Day 8 Autumnby thomaspeopleComment: What a land - just gorgeous. Perhaps a little darkening with levels? Would make the colors and contours pop more. |
