This has the potential to be a top 10 image but I think it's composition has let it down. You've retained the shadows at the bottom of the frame as an interest point but I suspect they are competing for attention with the awesome top-right part of the image. I would be interested to see the result of a crop that just cuts off at the shadow's tip. That would leave the red flower on a thirds intersection in a landscape format and it would share with us the outstanding textures and colours below the surface.

Great DOF! This is a tough shot to get right, especially with a squirrely model :) I don't know why you went mono with it, there's an overall mpact missing which colour might have given you.

Hmmm, cute idea and nivce transparency yet there's something missing. Not entirely sure what but the overall image is needing a point of interest and a clear composition interest point. As it is presented it looks a little disorganised.

Now this looks really interesting but I can't work out wha i am looking at. Perhaps the mono doesn't help. Certainly giving us a specific point of interest int he image to be drawn to would help some
