Cool idea (I think), but poorly executed. The model is 3 1/2, and did NOT want to be still for anything. This was the closest to a decent shot that I had. Cropped, brightness/contrast adjustments, bw conversion, cloned *some* reflections on the glass, noise reduction.

Expecting low 4's (hoping for 4.5).

Had to pay him a sucker. :)

Great DOF! This is a tough shot to get right, especially with a squirrely model :) I don't know why you went mono with it, there's an overall mpact missing which colour might have given you.

I like the idea. I also wonder how this would look with a bit more contrast and a bit sharper overall?

I like the tight framing chosen here, although I'd like to see the frame of the magnifying glass itself a little sharper.

He's cute, but the composition makes him look like an "egghead". I'm sure he isn't in real life.

nice choice for transparancy! would have liked to see a sharper image of the eye in the magnifying glass...

thats fun.. I remember doing that kinda stuff.. Oh wait I did that only yesterday ;) heh..

I think i'd like this more if it had more contrast between the black n white bits..
