The converted camera does a great job capturing the scene. I have an IR filter that I don't use often enough but this just seems to have something extra. The tree, sky, and road all add up to make a great picture.

I have no idea how you were able to get a picture of him this way, considering he's usually up to mischief like trying push people over. And considering he weighs as much as a pickup truck, he leaves a lot of fallen people in his wake. The processing suits the rare calmness of the moment.

This is the first time I've seen a Protea; it sure is an interesting flower. The red really stands out against the green; it's unfortunate the couple of leaves are blocking the whole flower. What I typically do in this situation is gently move the leaves away or even tie them off. Of course, not all flowers can handle that treatment, and I'm guessing this isn't your Protea anyway...
