 I saw the colors and lines in the Albizia tree. I left a bit of blown out white on the lower left to aid the viewer in seeing that it is a tree trunk. The watercolor pattern in the background was beautiful to me and I wanted to capture that as well as the tree trunk's textures and colors.

Love the background. It certainly does look like a watercolor pattern. The image has a nice variety of textures.

Good job at trying to capture what you saw in your mind; I find it difficult to do. I think if it were rotated just a tad to the right a bit of tree cropped off left it might make for a stronger composition, but then again that's what I see in my mind, not yours!

this reminds of snow on the tree trunk like after a storm; thr bg is very petty in its pastel colors. nice textures on the tree

The texture of the tree trunk looks like it's here in winter wonderland..
IMHO mind ya wonder if focus was sharper how this would come across?
