Letters Homeby GermaineComment: Nice processing to give it a dreamy look. I get the feeling she had no clue you were there taking pictures - she really looks involved in her task. The bicycle in the background is a tad distracting, but this is still fantastic. |

Assessmentby GermaineComment: What a great candid capture this is. I think your title fits it perfectly, and it's obvious what he's up to, and just the right amount of blur to add to the story. |

Drive-In Moviesby HipychikComment: That thing looks sooooooooo old! We hardly have any of those left anymore and it's been many, many years since I've been to one. I think you achieved your goal with the processing. |

Dragon's Breathby jdannelsComment: Nice job on the HDR without overdoing it. Before I saw the dragon I saw the tree, which to me looks like somebody getting down on the dancefloor. |

Week 6: Maryby jasonlpriceComment: This is a wonderful portrait, and I like that half-smile she has going on there. The negative space works well, and helps isolate her. Just nitpicking, but some of the lighter strands of hair look a bit oversharpened to me. |

Midtown Afternoonby kolasiComment: Even though this is quite a simple shot, it has a lot going for it. The silhouettes contrast so well against the outside scene and the floor. I like how you have two couple interacting and then the solo person. Are they all together? Strangers? This photo makes me think about the subject, and you did it well.
I'm not sure if anything could be done about it, but the bench is a bit off-centered. But then if you center it, the column goes through the middle couple. Tough call either way. |

6.52 Nice dayby MelethiaComment: I really like those shadows created on the ground and the of course the person and dog. I think a bit more detail in the deep shadows would make it even more interesting. |

2.52 The colonyby MelethiaComment: The pink is certainly nice, but this one seems to have such a different mood to it. The B&W doesn't look quite as cheerful as the color. |

Transportationby MelethiaComment: This is really cool, Deb. I like how your subject stands out against the lighter road. What makes this photo for me is how you chose to take the picture from behind, where typically it would be with him coming towards you. The fact that he's alone on a bike in a street full of cars just seems a bit sad to me.
I'm becoming quite the fan of converting to B&W in RAW also. The only time I won't do it is when I'm doing color or not sure if I want color or B&W. |

Week 1: Snow Wagonby jasonlpriceComment: That wagon just looks sad sitting there like that. I like what you've done with the tracks connecting the house and wagon. If you had a child there it would have been something else to see him/her pulling the wagon! |
