the telephoneby JutildaComment: What a bright and cheery flower shot! The poem goes well and I like how you created the light background for the text. |

Can't Sayby annigComment: Thanks for the laugh, I'm guessing he was crossing so you could take his picture for a side challenge on DPC! I like how his colors make him stand out against the road and how he appears to be going downhill. |

Green Shells - Day 6by sherpetComment: You are the master of these types of shots! Great job with the colors - I'd be out of ideas by Day 1. |

5by RetroesqueComment: I can see it now - somebody at the botanical gardens wondering why a photographer would take a picture of a dead flower. They just have no clue!
Good job using DOF to blur the background and keep focus on the flower. I like the overall dark feel to this. |

One Lap Onlyby GregoryBComment: "OK Greg, it works. Now finish the job while I go take another ribbon winning macro on the firetrail."
Nice shot of Roz and with that smile I'm sure she knew you were going to post it here.

Framedby ordinaryangelComment: Before I even saw your title I was drawn to the framing. I really like the muted colors. |

Out and Aboutby ordinaryangelComment: I like the textures here and somewhat unusual setting for a portrait. Not sure if it was a conscious choice or not, but the color of the clothes fits perfectly. |

breakwater2.jpgby idpComment: I really like the tones here and the people (with lampshade of course!) add interest. The new version of Photomatix is pretty good at getting rid of ghosting, but I'm guessing that the haloing is due to setting in Photomatix. Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any Photomatix questions - I've spent waaaaaaaay to much time playing with it but I can usually keep the halos out. |

Day 4 - Sproutingby wickee_oneComment: You've captured the essence of spring here. Nice job getting the colors to pop and the selective desat works well. |
