buzzard.jpgby icu1965Comment: That must have been difficult to shoot, and I like the blur in the background. This makes me wonder what he's waiting for. |

The Roseby L1Comment: Soft & pretty, text goes well with the flower. I could see this as a postcard. |

Day 7 - Leaf Budby wickee_oneComment: Nice job isolating the bud from the background. I think the crop is fine. It looks like the bud is about to burst - a sure sign of spring. |

Well Versed Creepy Cats: Catlett O'Haraby cginoComment: Besides being humorous, on a photographic level this is fantatic. What does it for me is the composition and looking up at Miss O'Hara; she's larger than life and should be for this scene. The lighting on face and hand paw just adds to the effect. |

To Be a Flowerby JutildaComment: The poem seems to fit this perfectly. I like how the tulip is opened up to the sun and is isolated by the overlay. Your chosen colors are serene instead of what many would do for the DPC-friendly picture. |

beach-001.jpgby idpComment: What a story this tells. This would be good by itself but the girl and mother takes it to another level. |

7by RetroesqueComment: Lisa, I've been watching your series here with great interest because you're taking simple things and making them into art, and this is no exception. At lunch I went out with the intent to do something similar but they did a controlled burn and most of the stuff like this is gone. But I'll keep trying! |
