5-1by ltlmschrisssComment: Nice illusion created by the ruler; I thought it was a pointy sharp thing on a stick. |

P&S Day 1: Chrisby socalsteveComment: Nice low morning light and I like how it's hitting just the one side of his face. His relaxed look really makes the shot. |

1. MYNTZ MONEYby Art RoflmaoComment: I just find it quite funny that you are a packrat, although I don't know why. That overlay really makes the shots, and if you're saving for good glass at least I know you'll have minty breath. |

manmadeobject1.jpgby icu1965Comment: I like the contrast between the old, rusted engine and the black tanker car. Good job on exposure and colors.
As far as composition, I'd suggest a couple of tings. Even though your horizon is level in the foreground, the trains appear to be going uphill. While I like that blue sky, I'm thinking a wider crop would work well with your subjects.
Speaking of the subjects, that rusted engine would make a great subject on its own. That's the kind of thing to walk around (safely of course) and take pictures from different angles and see what comes out. |
